Over the last twenty years, LSC has grown and expanded its services in an effort to serve a continuously broadening market. Founded in 1980 as Land Survey Consultants, the company began by providing surveying expertise to both public and private clients. During the 1980's, civil and environmental engineering capabilities were added to meet the needs of a flourishing clientele. In 1989, a sister company, LSC Architectural, was formed to offer architectural design, interior design and structural engineering. This combination of services created a full service design firm able to participate in the widening marketplace. The two companies continued to provide coordinated services during the 1990's until they merged. Today we operate from a strong integrated core, LSC Design, Inc.

The reason we exist - the purpose of our entire organization is to serve our clients. Our clients are people: business leaders, administrators, and professionals. Most of our clients do not have an interest in design, engineering or the construction process. They come to us because they have a need. Our clients might need to complete a real estate transaction, provide space for a growing enterprise, or offer an upgraded image to their market. At LSC Design, we see ourselves first and foremost as problem solvers. We believe good design makes good business sense. We strive to provide supportive, creative solutions that help our clients meet their needs. Our goal is to collaborate with our clients to complete the project quickly and efficiently so they can remain focused on doing what they do best.

LSC Design is arguably one of the larger and more capable full service design firms in South Central Pennsylvania. Our multi-disciplinary firm of over 65 professionals includes architects, engineers, planners, surveyors, interior designers and environmental scientists. At LSC, our depth of design knowledge is considerable. LSC staff participates in literally hundreds of design projects every year. Our projects range from small private residences to commercial and industrial development projects as large as several hundred acres. Our clients encompass private individuals, government agencies, institutions, developers, contractors and large multi-national corporations. LSC Design is familiar with the traditional design-bid-build delivery system and also has extensive experience working with owners and contractors as a member of a design-build team.
