GEA PHE Systems

GEA PHE Systems, a global manufacturer of plate heat exchangers needed a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in York, PA. LSC Design along with Kinsley Construction successfully completed this design/build project.

The 218,000 sf facility includes manufacturing and administrative office space. The heat exchanger fabrication process requires specialized and unique equipment, a 2,500 ton press was needed and installed. This required the removal of the concrete floor, excavation for the press foundation as well as the installation of an independent 8’ thick foundation to support the press.
